INNER SANCTUMS
OFFICIAL STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND STATUS
I, Nicholas Junior Stephenson, Founder and Director, present this statement as a formal declaration of purpose, public standing, leadership role, and the socio-political doctrine advanced through Inner Sanctums.
This document is intended to clarify the nature of the project, the principles upon which it operates, and the framework through which its ideas and activities are expressed.
LEADERSHIP AND MANDATE
My role is defined as that of a political leader whose authority is derived not from appointment by office alone, but from the confidence, loyalty, and sustained support of an international body of individuals aligned to a shared social and political objective.
Leadership within Inner Sanctums is exercised through:
• public communication and published doctrine;
• structured discussion and organised participation;
• the cultivation of an international community unified by political and philosophical purpose.
This leadership is expressed through ideas, engagement, and influence rather than coercion, and is grounded in continuity of support and shared intent.
POLITICAL PHILOSOPHY AND SOCIAL AIM
The political orientation advanced through Inner Sanctums is utopian in nature. It articulates a vision of an improved socio-political order directed toward:
• the reduction and ultimate eradication of poverty;
• the prevention of war through lawful political organisation and structured governance.
For clarity, ideology is understood here as a coherent system of beliefs and values that guides conduct, shapes objectives, and expresses the interests of a socio-political movement or organisation.
ELITISM AND GOVERNANCE
Inner Sanctums acknowledges the doctrine commonly described as elitism—the recognition that societies frequently identify, and at times benefit from, individuals of exceptional capacity in social, political, or economic leadership.
In this context, reference is made to the classical proposition attributed to Plato: that societies are most stable and just when political authority is exercised by those fitted to rule through wisdom, discipline, and philosophical understanding.
This principle is presented as a framework for examining leadership, responsibility, and the relationship between capability and authority.
DOCTRINAL FRAMEWORK: DIVINE RIGHT OF KINGS
The project also engages with the historical doctrine known as the Divine Right of Kings—the proposition that sovereign authority derives from God rather than from popular consent, and that rulers are ultimately accountable to a higher moral authority.
Within Inner Sanctums, this doctrine is presented as a political-theological lens through which sovereignty, legitimacy, duty, and authority may be examined and interpreted. Its inclusion is philosophical and interpretive, forming part of a broader inquiry into governance and power.
OATHS, OFFICE, AND LEGAL INSTRUMENTS
It is further stated that roles, responsibilities, and obligations associated with this project are articulated through formal instruments, including:
• an Oath of Office;
• an Oath of Allegiance;
executed through lawful administration and treated as binding undertakings within their applicable contexts.
For reference:
An oath of office is a sworn commitment to perform the duties of an office faithfully and in accordance with law.
A promissory oath concerns future conduct and may be recognised as binding where lawfully constituted.
An affidavit is a written declaration made under oath before an authorised official, intended for evidential use.
COMMUNITY AND FORUM
Inner Sanctums maintains and supports an international forum dedicated to disciplined discussion of social, political, and philosophical subjects. Participation is grounded in lawful engagement, reasoned debate, and shared interest in governance, reform, and civic responsibility.
ROYALTY, RANK, AND THE CONCEPT OF “ROYALTY”
The term royalty is used herein as a conceptual designation signifying dignity, stature, and recognised standing. It denotes the highest regarded members of a class—whether by tradition, title, conduct, or acknowledged authority—and is not limited to hereditary interpretation.
CLOSING DECLARATION
This site serves as a record of doctrine, stated mission, and formal declaration. All materials presented are intended to be understood as political and philosophical expression and, where applicable, as documentation of sworn commitments and organisational purpose.
Inner Sanctums exists as a platform for ideas, dialogue, and structured inquiry into power, responsibility, and the future of socio-political organisation.
